Ten Sleepless Knights hosts the US Virgin Islands Folklife Festival Schedule, showcasing cultural activities that celebrate Virgin Islands’ culture, folklore, history, and traditions. Most activities will be hosted by musicians, dancers, cooks, artisans, and storytellers. On select evenings, unique entertainment.
The Ten Sleepless Knights (TSK) are excited to mark their 55th Anniversary with the 2025 Folklife Festival, an immersive event dedicated to showcasing the vibrant culture, customs, folklore, and history of the U.S. Virgin Islands. The festival, running from March to July 2025 across St. Croix, St. Thomas, and, for the first time, St. John, is more than just entertainment – it’s an opportunity to pass down traditions to future generations.
“This festival is not just about showing and telling, but about knowing and telling,” said Mr. Kendell KC Henry, TSK member and festival organizer. “We are honored to host performers, chefs, and storytellers who not only entertain but actively engage with festival guests, sharing their crafts and knowledge to ensure these traditions live on with the next generation of Virgin Islanders.”
TSK is a nonprofit organization created by the supporters of Stanley and the Ten Sleepless Knights cultural organization. TSK has sponsored various events showcasing the U. S. Virgin Islands’ rich culture, folklore, history, and traditions for more than 17 years. In 2016, they formally established the Ten Sleepless Knights Education Scholarship. TSK remains dedicated to preserving the official cultural dance and music of the U. S. Virgin Islands Quelbe Music and Quadrille Dance for future generations. The result was TSK’s incorporation as a 501(c)(3) organization in 2001.
