It’s a week of Cultural Workshops, Presentations, Discussions, and Dance. It’s Folklife Fest 2023 from June 24-July 3, 2023
This series of events celebrates the U. S. Virgin Islands’ rich and diverse culture and history; and how they intertwine with our folklore and the territory’s official cultural music – Quelbe, and dance – Quadrille. The celebration intends to fill a void by exposing and teaching our youth and the community the importance of celebrating our diverse and rich U. S. Virgin Islands’ culture, dance, history, and music.
TSK is the nonprofit organization created my the supporters of Stanley and the Ten Sleepless Knights cultural organization. TSK has sponsored various events showcasing the U. S. Virgin Islands’ rich culture, folklore, history, and traditions for more than 17 years. In 2016, we formally established the Ten Sleepless Knights Education Scholarship. TSK remains dedicated to preserving the official cultural dance and music of the U. S. Virgin Islands Quelbe Music and Quadrille Dance for future generations. The result was TSK’s incorporation as a 501(c)(3) organization in 2001.
